NCC cadet Chumit Lepcha (Lepcha Honours, 4th Semester) of 1 Sikkim Girl’s BN of SGC, Namchi had participated in Adventure course at NIM (NEHRU INSTITUTE OF MOUNTAINEERING) Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Total 233 NCC girl’s cadets from different Battalions had participated. The course content like rock climbing, obstacles race, cross country marathon, highlight to mountaineering equipment,
Nots and hitches, Tent preaching, Lecture regarding mountain hazards, river crossing, zipline etc. She performed well and secured 3rd in cross country marathon.
