Sikkim Government College, Namchi, 10.06.2024: Today a recruitment awareness program was
conducted by the personnels of Indian Air Force for the students of SGC, Namchi at the
auditorium. The resource person for the program was Mr. Hari Prasad, Wing Commander stationed
at the selection centre at Barrackpur, West Bengal. The programme was attended by the final year
students of all the departments. The resource person explained in detail about the Agneepath
Scheme. All the details regarding the selection procedures, included written and physical tests,
were shared with the students. The job prospects and financial benefits of the scheme were also
explained along with the benefit of joining the Indian Air Force as an Agneeveer Vayu. The
program ended with a doubt clearing session.
