History of the SGCN Mathematics Department

The department of Mathematics at Sikkim Government College, Namchi was established in July 2012, becoming the second government college in the state of Sikkim to offer undergraduate courses in basic sciences thereby furthering the goal of making higher education accessible.

From the department strength of one faculty, Mr. Manish Pradhan, and 13 students during its inception, it has exponentially risen to 74 students and 6 faculty members.
