25th June 2023: Basic Mountaineering Course
National Cadet Corps(NCC) of Sikkim Government College, Namchi – Cdt. Mahendra Tamang of Physical Education Honours, (2nd Semester)
Cdt Bikram Chettri of B.com (4th Semester) attended the Basic Mountaineering Course held at Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) Darjeeling, West Bengal.
It was conducted from 25th May to 8th June 2023.During the camp, they had a 7 days long trek to places like Sandakphu, Kalapokhari, Gaubari, Kaijale, Singla, and many more. The objective of the camp was to give cadets more exposure to and inculcate a spirit of adventure. Other activities and competitions were also conducted during the camp period.
